Brock Jones, (B.A., M.A., J.D.) practices as Crown Counsel with the Ministry of the Attorney General, Ontario. He has appeared before every level of court in Ontario including the Ontario Court of Appeal. For eight years he served as a co-director of the Scarborough Crown Attorney’s Office Youth Justice Team, where he prosecuted all manner of youth cases in both the Ontario and Superior Courts of Justice. He lectures regularly at the Ontario Crown Attorneys’ Association, the Toronto Police College, and the Ontario Bar Association. Since 2012, he has been an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto, where he teaches a course on the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Jones is the recipient of the 2016 OBA’s Heather McArthur Memorial Young Lawyers’ Award for his exceptional contributions to the practice of law in Ontario and to the Ontario Bar Association.
