Marc Emond spent six years teaching secondary school before moving to a position with Ryerson University’s Student Learning Services. Here he served as Learning Strategist for the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Science prior to accepting the position of Manager, Access Centre. As manager, Marc supports students with disabilities through facilitation of academic accommodation, promotes accessible education through outreach initiatives and collaborative approaches to student academic support. Along his route, Marc taught exceptional students in the Middle East, Caribbean, and Toronto area schools and obtained an MEd. from Framingham State College. He is a co-author of two EMP guidance series texts.
