Timothy Lowman is a Partner of Sim Lowman Ashton & MacKay LLP and Sim & McBurney (SIM IP Practice). He is a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation, Certified Licensing Professional, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (International Arbitration) and Adjunct Faculty at Ryerson University. Since 1980, he has appeared as counsel in a broad range of commercial and intellectual property litigation including patent, trade-mark, copyright, trade secrets, professional errors and omissions, invention ownership, product liability and employment law claims in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench, Federal Court of Canada, Ontario Court of Appeal, Federal Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Canada.
