Alyson Van Beinum
Biography

Alyson van Beinum teaches in the Durham Region where she has been involved in a number of initiatives including development of an Interdisciplinary Black Studies Course, Literacy Resources for Boys and Resources for Achieving Equity. She is a founding member of the Durham Black Educators Network. Alyson served as a Course Director at York University in the Teacher Education program where her focus was on equity and inclusivity in teaching. She has an M.A. from OISEUT and is currently pursuing a Ph.D in education.
