Sandra Robinson

Sandra Robinson, B.A., M.B.A., M.A., Ph.D., teaches in the Communication and Media Studies program in the School of Journalism and Communication at Carleton University. She regularly consults with government, civil society, media organizations and private-public partnership projects addressing concerns around algorithmic curation, social media and the polarization of public discourse. Sandra is the recipient of two awards recognizing her excellence and innovation in teaching. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Queen’s University and an M.A. in Legal Studies from Carleton. Prior to returning to university to research and teach, Sandra worked in the software industry.
