Adam Vaughan
Dr. Adam Vaughan is an associate professor with the Department of Justice Studies at the University of Regina. He is also an Adjunct Professor position with the Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University and a Research Associate with the School of Community and Social Justice at The Justice Institute of British Columbia.
Dr. Vaughan's research focuses on producing empirical evidence on the quality and quantity of police interactions with vulnerable populations. More specifically, he investigates the spatiotemporal patterning of police calls-for-service involving persons with mental illness and/or substance use. Dr. Vaughan also conducts research in the domain of mental wellness for public safety personnel in Canada.
