Heather Hodgson

Heather Hodgson Schleich is the Executive Director of The Gateway Community Centre whose clients are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Dufferin County. Prior to this she was a professor and coordinator of the Niagara College Law and Security Administration Program. She was a member of the original design team for the Ontario Police Foundation Program Curriculum. Heather had many unique experiences as one of the first female general patrol officers and later as a drug and safety education officer in Peel. She attained the rank of sergeant. A life-long learner, Heather attained her Masters in Distance Education.
