Nicola Sutton

Nicola Sutton is an instructor in Algonquin College’s paralegal and law clerk programs and has been a freelance legal writer and editor for many years. After receiving her LLB and LLM from the University of Ottawa, she worked as legal counsel at the Department of Justice and at the Supreme Court of Canada. Nicola has contributed to a few Emond products, including Canadian Business Law, 4th edition (2023); Fundamentals of Security, 2nd edition (2022), Professionalism and Ethics in the Legal Office (2022), and to our practice exams for Emond Exam Prep.
