Peter Maher

Peter Maher has over 31 years of diversified policing experience. Peter has taught Provincial Offences for 10 years and has coordinated the Police Foundations program at Georgian College for 7 years. He was responsible for the renewal of the Police Foundations Program under the updated provincial standards, resulting in a dynamic and progressive program that incorporates a significant hands-on component wherever possible. Maher is a teacher and author who strives continuously to teach students professionalism and common sense. His work on the Provincial Offences text focuses on these goals and provides the student with reference beyond the classroom.
