Shahé S. Kazarian
Shahé Kazarian holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Western University (formerly the University of Western Ontario) in London, Ontario. He has served as Professor of Psychiatry in the Faculty of Medicine (UWO); Adjunct Faculty to the Clinical Psychology Program (UWO); Director of the Departments of Psychology and Research, and Program Co-leader of the Mood Disorder and Schizophrenia Programs (London Psychiatric Hospital); Chair of the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences (American University of Beirut); and Professor and Chair of the Department of Psychology at the American University of Beirut. His academic and research interests focus on clinical psychology, positive psychology, cultural psychology and diversity issues in law enforcement. Among his numerous, well-regarded publications are Diversity Issues in Law Enforcement, 3rd edition, Introduction to Psychology for Law Enforcement, 2nd edition, and Diversity and First Nations Issues in Canada, 2nd edition.
