Emily Lam

Emily Lam, Hons BA, JD, was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2008 after receiving her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. She began her career at Rosen Naster LLP and is presently a partner at Kastner Law. She defends individuals and corporations charged with criminal, quasi-criminal and regulatory offences. She has worked on a number of high-profile cases throughout her career, many of which include defending people charged with offences against children. More recently, Emily’s work has focused on trying to expand the factors that courts can consider when addressing accused persons from marginalized and vulnerable communities.
