Geneviève Saumier

Geneviève Saumier (BComm, B.C.L. and LL.B. McGill; Ph.D. Cambridge) is a professor at the Faculty of Law, McGill University. She was associate dean from 2005-08. She is an expert in private international law, with a focus on consumer law, the resolution of international disputes, and cross-border class actions. She also teaches the law of civil liability and civil procedure. She is an elected member of the International Academy of Comparative Law and of the American Association of Private International Law.
