Howard S. Black
Howard S. Black serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law in Estates and Estate Litigation at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. He has won two awards for teaching from Osgoode Hall Law School. He was the first recipient of the Osgoode Hall Law School Teaching Award in recognition of teaching excellence and the 2003/2004 Legal and Literary Society Teaching Excellence Award.Howard also serves as chair of the Estates group at Minden Gross LLP, a Toronto full-service law firm, and participates in management as a member of the firm's Executive Committee.Howard's practice focuses on estate litigation and mediation of estates disputes after having also acquired extensive practice experience in all aspects of estate planning and administration. In addition to maintaining a busy estate litigation and estates mediation practice, Howard provides estate planning advice to middle and high net-worth individuals.Howard is a Past Chair of the Executive of the Trusts and Estates section of the Ontario Bar Association and is a frequent lecturer, writer, and media personality on a variety of wills and estates matters.
