Netta Romano
Netta Romano began her academic career at Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in 2002. She has been a full-time professor of the Paralegal Diploma program since 2010, and was the program coordinator from 2011 to 2020, teaching in many of the program courses. Netta holds an LLB degree and an LLM degree in Labour Relations and Employment Law, both from Osgoode Hall Law School, as well as a BA and a BEd degree from York University. Netta practiced civil litigation for a number of years and was in-house counsel for a large corporation advising primarily on employment and human rights matters before turning to her true passion of teaching. In addition to authoring Employment Law for Paralegals, Netta has contributed to instructor resources for several of Emond’s Working with the Law publications used by paralegal programs throughout Ontario.
