Ryan Anderson
Ryan Anderson is a partner at the Vancouver office of Mathews, Dinsdale & Clark LLP. Ryan has worked in the human resources field for over two decades and advises employers in all areas of workplace law.
Ryan studied law at the University of British Columbia and was called to the bar in 2006. In 1999 he completed a master’s degree in business administration and labour relations at Simon Fraser University, following his completion of a bachelor’s degree in business administration and human resources management.
Ryan represents provincially and federally regulated employers concerning both labour relations and employment matters, primarily in British Columbia and Alberta. Ryan regularly assists employers and human resources professionals with the day-to-day challenges of managing employees. As an advocate, Ryan represents employers in a wide variety of forums, including administrative tribunals and labour arbitrations. In addition, Ryan provides practical training in all manner of human resource management topics.
Ryan has been a teacher in the human resources field for more than 20 years, most recently as an instructor at Simon Fraser University, teaching a labour and employment relations course to human resources professionals participating in the Certificate in Human Resources Management Program. Previously, Ryan was an instructor at Capilano University, where he taught a similar course to business students for over ten years.
