Tanya Domize
Tanya Domize is a licensed paralegal and a dedicated educator with a wealth of experience in both the legal and academic sectors. As a full-time legal professor at Centennial College, Tanya brings over 5 years of experience as a Legal Program Coordinator to her students, fostering an environment of learning that emphasizes both practical knowledge and academic excellence.
In addition to her role at Centennial College, Tanya also teaches Business Law at York University, where she educates accounting students on the significance of understanding and applying business law within the Canadian context. Her ability to make complex legal principles accessible allows her create classes with a student-centered approach to learning.
Tanya’s professional journey also includes a significant tenure with the Ministry of the Attorney General, where she worked as a Victim Witness Service Worker. In this capacity, she advocated for victims and witnesses navigating the criminal court system, demonstrating her deep commitment to justice and support for those affected by crime.
A passionate advocate for legal education, Tanya partners with Emond Publishing to help prepare paralegal candidates for their P1 Licensing Exam, using her vast expertise to ensure they are fully prepared for their careers.
Tanya’s excellence in teaching was recognized in 2020 when she was honored with the George Wicken Memorial Award for Teaching Excellence, a testament to her dedication to her students and her field.
