Return Policies for Bookstores and Wholesalers
Print Products
Select print products may be returned within one year of the invoice date for a full credit or refund, provided the products are in saleable condition and in their original packaging with the shrink-wrap unbroken. Final Sale print products are not eligible for return. Claims for damaged, incorrect, or short-shipped titles must be submitted within 10 days of the delivery date. Claims for defective books can be directed to hello@emond.ca. All credit notes must be used within one year of the credit note being issued.
eBooks
Bookstores that have purchased eBook PIN or Access codes for resale can request a return for codes that have not been re-sold or redeemed. eBook purchases made online at emond.ca are considered final sale and may not be returned for refund or credit.
Custom Products
Bookstores may return a maximum of 25% of the quantity ordered in the original invoice.
Requesting a Return
Our warehouse is moving this month so there will be a blackout on bookstore returns effectively immediately until October 11th.
All returns require a Return Authorization number (RA#). This helps us serve you more efficiently and expeditiously. Returns without an RA# will be returned to the sender at the sender’s expense. Please ensure when requesting an RA# that you include the product title, ISBN, invoice number, the quantity being returned, and reason for the return. Only books in resaleable condition (no damage, no stamping, no stickers, still in original shrink-wrap) will be accepted for a credit or refund. To request your RA#, please contact hello@emond.ca
Returns shipped to our corporate office will be refused and returned to the sender at the sender’s expense. Returns will be processed within 30 days of receipt at our warehouse. Larger returns may take longer. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
