Anthony Duggan
Tony Duggan holds the Hon. Frank H. Iacobucci Chair in the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto and is a professorial fellow in the Faculty of Law at the University of Melbourne. He was associate dean of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law from 2002 to 2004 and acting dean from January 1 to April 2, 2013. His main teaching and research interests are secured transactions, bankruptcy law, and equity and trusts. He won the Mewett Teaching Award at the University of Toronto in 2009-10 and again in 2010-11. Recent publications include: Secured Transactions in Personal Property: Cases, Text and Materials, co-authored with Jacob Ziegel (6th ed., Emond Montgomery, 2013); Middle Income Access to Justice, co-edited with Michael Trebilcock and Lorne Sossin (University of Toronto Press, 2012); and Australian Personal Property Securities Law, co-authored with David Brown (Lexis Nexis, 2012). He is Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Business Law Review and immediate past president of the International Academy of Commercial and Consumer Law.
