DeeAnn Gonsalves
DeeAnn Gonsalves is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School. She is a full time professor at Seneca College and a part time Small Claims Court Deputy Judge. She is the co-author of Debtor-Creditor Law and Procedure, Small Claims Court Practice and Procedure in Ontario, and a contributing author to Introduction to Law in Canada. DeeAnn’s interest in law was sparked when, as part of her undergraduate studies, she took a Canadian Politics and the Law course. Following law school DeeAnn joined a mid-sized law firm in Brampton where she practiced litigation law. In addition to her private practice work DeeAnn was a part time duty counsel lawyer in criminal and family court and represented women from the local women’s shelter.
