Margaret Ann Wilkinson

Dr. Margaret Ann Wilkinson, LLB (Toronto), BA (Trinity College), MLS (toronto), PhD (Western), is professor and director of the Area of Concentration in Intellectual Property, Information and Technology in the Faculty of Law at Western University. In addition to having held visiting positions at Dalhousie University, the University of toronto, and Newcastle University (UK), Dr. Wilkinson is affiliated with the Faculty of Information and Media Studies at Western, has frequently been adjunct faculty in the Richard Ivey School of Business, and has been awarded the distinction of Faculty Scholar. She has written and taught widely on copyright, moral rights, confidential information and other areas of intellectual property, personal data protection, privacy and other areas information law, on the legal structure of the health sector and health information, on management and professional ethics. Her work has appeared in national and international journals and been cited in the Supreme Court of Canada.
